Portraits are by far my favorite thing to photograph. I’ve been doing it for over 30 years. I just love people, especially in their own environment. Interacting with them, making them feel at ease, and bringing out their true personality makes me incredibly happy. I could do a shoot or three every day for the next 85 years..
I love photographing children & young adults, as well as family portraits. Photographing kids was my full time job when I first came to New York. I shot both advertising, and editorial spreads for kids magazines. I was even represented by the head of Fords Kids modeling agency. Eventually I moved on, but I continue to do family portraits and kids to this day. I much prefer natural settings, usually outdoors, incorporating energy, fun, and happiness, which everyone has inside 😊
Cityscapes are a collection of my favorite photos from New York City, or around the world, over the course of my career. Below is Fireworks in London in 1987

Jared Leto and Chris Beetam; two of my favorite Philly models. I took this photo in an industrial area that I loved: It’s clean backgrounds and ground made anyone stand out more, and it gave me the freedom to use all the energy from myself and my subjects.

My Vintage work goes back to the late 80’s through the start of my digital work around 2003. Many of these photos are from Clubs in Philadelphia in the early 90’s, but I also included many of the fashion or portraits I took of friends. This is some of my favorite works, as it represents a time of exploration, migrating from the journalism world to more urban themes.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world over the course of my lifetime. Included here are some of my favorite photos from Europe, South America, or the Israel. Most of the photos are pre-digital, and were shot on Kodachrome or Ektachrome slide film.
